Tell us a little about yourself. I’ve been an employee at American Residential Services since 1992. Besides dedicating myself to serving customers and helping with plumbing and drain needs, I am also a volunteer EMT and firefighter. I was born in California and have been a Portland resident since 2012. I have two children and enjoy stand-up paddle-boarding in my spare time.
What’s your favorite place to hang out in the Portland? Hard to choose just one, but probably The Verdict or Fire on the Mountain.
What part of your job gives you the most satisfaction? Above and beyond everything else, I get the most satisfaction from helping people. That is what our business is about first and foremost.

Tell us a little about yourself. I’m proud to say I was born and raised in the Portland area and I’ve been an employee at Jack Howk since 2002. I started my career here as a Customer Service Representative and was promoted to Plumbing Services Supervisor. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, raising chickens, and attending my son’s T-ball games.
What’s your favorite place to hang out in the Portland? Nothing beats hanging out at my home with friends and family.
What part of your job gives you the most satisfaction? Helping people is a big part of my job, so I would have to say I get the most satisfaction from assisting customers and co-workers.

Tell us a little about yourself. I was born on the other side of the country in Charleston, South Carolina, but I’ve been an Oregon resident since 1977. I have been an employee at Jack Howk since 1990. I started my career here as a Fleet Mechanic and was promoted to Fleet Manager. I assist with fleet, safety, warehousing, and customer service. My hobbies are photography and video games. I have two daughters and a new granddaughter.
What’s your favorite place to hang out in the Portland? I like to either hang out at home with my family or go to the beach.
What part of your job gives you the most satisfaction? Working with the people around me gives me the most satisfaction. If it were any other way, I wouldn’t be here.
What is the most common plumbing or drain problem you’ve encountered? Problems with kitchen and washer hoses.
